We've got an amazing new workshop coming up for you in April!
If you loved Lessa Lamb's class on Micro-fusion in February, she's joining us again this month for a full weekend of classes. These classes will be focusing on unique ways to move and the keys to Floorcraft! As you guys know we've been getting pretty tight on the dancefloor at LA fusion recently, so knowing how to make your way across the dancefloor, stay safe on the floor and avoiding impacts is critical to having a fun night. Lessa's got some great workshops for us to hone our core skills of movement on the floor that should fuel an amazing night of dances that Saturday after the workshop.

*gollum*) What would your dancing be like if every move flowed into every other move, with a minimum of effort and energy to redirect your momentum? Using interesting props we'll explore smoothing out our transitions until they melt seamlessly into the rest of the dance.
5:15-6:15p - "Student's choice"
There's always that thing you always wanted to know about, or that way you wanted to move but can't figure out. Well, now's your chance to figure it out... with help! Write down an idea of something you have always wanted to learn, and each student will have an opportunity to explore it with the instructor, and then with the class.

About the Instructor:
Lessa Lamb
Lessa has been studying and performing various forms of dance for most of her life. She learned lindy through a happy accident of fate, when at the '98/'99 New Years Eve dance in Tacoma, WA, she was petitioned by a then-acquaintance to become his teaching partner. Eventually she transitioned into dancing mostly Blues, but there is always some crossing over between the dances she did before, and the ones she learned more recently. She is grateful that all the dance she has learned has expanded and deepened her understanding of movement, and that many styles of partner dancing are now a part of that. lt In her continuous discovery of partner dance, she found that her best, most creative, and most satisfying series of movements come when she stops thinking about what she's doing, and just allows the dance, the music, the connection, to flow through her. In this conduit-like state, she finds serenity. It is the experience of these feelings that she strives to impart to as many people as she possibly can.
Whatever direction life takes her, she knows her passion for dance will always keep her on her toes
